PAS3 test method

The research was carried out by Centre Technique Du Papier. This is an external certified company that can carry out research. Our research started with the PAS3 test method. This test was devised by experts and revolves around one simple question: "How well does our toilet paper hold up when flushed down the toilet?" This test was carried out with water flows that mimic those in narrow 25mm sewers. The main thing was to see what happened to our bamboo toilet paper after it was flushed. This test was carried out with 300 sheets of our 2-ply bamboo toilet paper. To find out if the bamboo paper is soluble, 6 sheets were placed in a 4-litre moving container. This container moved for 30 minutes at a specific speed, comparable to the flow in narrow sewers. After 30 minutes, the materials were flushed through a sieve with 25mm holes, followed by a one-minute flush. This method is similar to what happens in the sewer.

The results of this research tell how our bamboo toilet paper performed after this test. And guess what? It meets the requirements of solubility, where more than 80% of the material must pass through the sieve after 30 minutes of testing. This means that our bamboo toilet paper is not only green, but can also be flushed down the toilet without any problems, even through the most complex sewage systems. How cool!
