Terms and conditions of the LAUFEN Benelux B.V. giveaway – 2026

1. Organizing companies
   This giveaway is jointly organized by:

LAUFEN Benelux B.V., located at Meidoornkade 2a, 3992 AE Houten, with VAT number NL803286788B01;
and

The Good Roll, Nesland 3, 1382 MZ Weesp

LAUFEN Benelux B.V. and The Good Roll are hereinafter collectively referred to as: “the Organizers”.

The Organizers are organizing this free giveaway where participants have a chance to win the prizes described in this promotion: a toilet from LAUFEN and various goodies from The Good Roll. 

META (neither Facebook nor Instagram) sponsors, endorses, or administers this giveaway in any way and is not associated with this giveaway in any way.

1. Participation area and duration
   This giveaway is not valid outside the jurisdiction mentioned above, nor in places where participation is legally prohibited or restricted.

The giveaway starts on October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM Amsterdam time and ends on October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM Amsterdam time.

The winner will be announced on November 12, 2026.

1. Participation and objective (Instagram & Facebook post) 
   Enter our giveaway for a chance to win a new LAUFEN toilet and fun goodies from The Good Roll by following these simple steps: 

• Like the giveaway post; 
• Follow @laufen_benelux; 
• Follow @thegoodroll; and 
• Let us know in a comment why you think your toilet, or someone else's toilet, deserves one of the best seats in the Netherlands, along with a The Good Roll XL Home Kit. 

Participants can also share the giveaway post via their own Instagram or Facebook account. Sharing the post is optional and is not a requirement to enter the giveaway. By sharing the post, participants agree that their entry may be visible to others on the respective social media platform. 

The draw will take place among the participants who have met all participation requirements. On November 12, 2026, the day the draw takes place, the winner will be announced via Instagram and Facebook. The Organizers will then contact the selected winner via a private message to officially award the prize.

The winner has 48 hours to respond to the message. After this period expires, the Organizers will contact a reserve winner.

1. Participation in the giveaway 

The following are eligible to participate in the giveaway:

• All persons of legal age (18+).
• Persons with a genuine Instagram user profile.
• Persons residing in the Netherlands. 

The following persons are not permitted to participate in the giveaway:

• Employees of LAUFEN Benelux B.V. and other companies that are part of the Roca Group, as well as their relatives up to the second degree in the direct line (parents and grandparents); 
• Employees of The Good Roll and companies directly affiliated with The Good Roll, as well as their relatives up to the second degree in the direct line (parents and grandparents); 
• Companies and their employees who have a direct commercial relationship with LAUFEN Benelux B.V. or The Good Roll. 

If an excluded person is designated as the winner, the right to the prize won shall lapse and a new draw will take place to designate another winner.

1. Prize 

The winner will receive the following prize package with a total value of: Total value: €88.75 + 591.69

• A LAUFEN LUA Toilet Pack; 
• A The Good Roll Home Kit XL; (The XL version contains a total of 40 products. These are 30 Bamboo toilet rolls, 4 tissue boxes, and 6 kitchen rolls.)
• +The Good Roll Booty Buddy + The Good Soap + The Good Cleaner + The Good Flush 

The prize will be awarded in person to the winner at the LAUFEN Benelux showroom in Houten. The prize will not be sent by mail or in any other way and must be picked up in person at the showroom. The toilet won will not be assembled or installed by the Organizers. The assembly and installation of the toilet are not included in the prize and are at the expense and responsibility of the winner. 

The prize is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another service, product, or cash amount.

The date and time of the prize presentation will be determined in consultation between the winner and the Organizers.

1. Draw and announcement of the winner

From November 1, 2026, the Organizers will conduct a draw among the participants who meet the conditions as described in articles 3 and 4. The winner will be chosen at random from all valid participants using a designated winner-selection tool.

The Organizers will contact the potential winner via a private message on Instagram. The winner must respond to this private message and provide the information requested by the Organizers in order to confirm the prize.

The Organizers will make a maximum of two (2) attempts to contact the potential winner. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of the first message sent or does not provide the requested information, his or her right to the prize shall lapse. In that case, the Organizers will perform a new draw to designate another winner.

1. Taxes relating to the prize

 In accordance with applicable tax laws and regulations, prizes awarded in the context of games, competitions, lotteries, or other games of chance may be subject to taxation, withholding, or a tax advance, depending on the jurisdiction of the prize recipient.

If applicable, the Organizers will satisfy the required withholdings on behalf of the winner to the competent tax authorities and will also comply with any information obligations towards the tax authorities and the winner arising from the awarding of the prize.

Any withholdings or advances due shall be borne by the Organizers and thus constitute an additional value of the prize.

The winner remains personally responsible for any tax obligations arising from receiving the prize and the processing thereof in their personal tax return.

Participation in the giveaway is only permitted for persons aged 18 and over.

1. Reservations and limitations

By participating in the giveaway, all participants acknowledge and accept that they are participating voluntarily and that the full terms and conditions and details of the giveaway have been made available to them in writing.

Participants acknowledge and accept that the Organizers, the companies providing prizes, participating sponsors, and their immediate family members, agents, affiliates, representatives, and employees are not liable for participation in the giveaway, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded by law.

< p>By participating in this giveaway, participants agree to fully comply with these terms and the decisions of the Organizers. These decisions are binding for all participants.

All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other prizes or for cash. The Organizers reserve the right to replace a prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants if they do not comply with the terms of the giveaway or if there is fraudulent or other unauthorized behavior.

The Organizers reserve the right to take legal action against persons who perform acts that may be considered manipulation or falsification of the draw and that may damage the image of the Organizers.

The Organizers reserve the right to make decisions regarding situations not expressly regulated in these terms. The Organizers are jointly authorized to interpret these terms and their decision is binding.

The Organizers reserve the right to shorten, extend, modify, or cancel the giveaway if exceptional circumstances prevent its execution. If this is the case, this will be communicated in an appropriate manner so that participants suffer as little disadvantage as possible.

The Organizers are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control. Nor are the Organizers responsible for cases of force majeure that may lead to the winner being unable to utilize the prize in whole or in part.

The winner agrees that the Organizers, their affiliates, and their employees are not liable in connection with the acceptance or use of the awarded prize, to the extent that liability can be excluded by law.

By participating in this giveaway, the participant declares to agree to these terms in their entirety. If a participant does not agree to these terms, in whole or in part, his or her participation will lapse immediately and the Organizers shall have no further obligations towards this participant.

Dutch law applies to these terms and the giveaway. All disputes regarding this giveaway and these terms shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. 

1. Data protection

In accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, accepting the prize means that the winner expressly grants permission to the Organizers to process and use his or her first and last name and image in public communication or other publicity activities related exclusively to this giveaway. There is no right to remuneration or other form of compensation for this beyond the presentation of the prize.

Failure to grant this permission means that the winner forfeits the prize.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679, we inform you that the personal data collected in the context of the giveaway will be used exclusively for purposes related to the execution and communication regarding this giveaway and any associated marketing activities.

The data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR. The Organizers act jointly as data controllers for the personal data processed in the context of this giveaway, insofar as this is required under applicable privacy legislation.
