Together we are changing the paper chain

We want to change the paper industry for good. Not just by making toilet paper differently, but by rethinking the entire supply chain: where our raw materials come from, where they are processed, and where value is created within that chain. That is why we are building our own bamboo pulp and paper chain in Ghana. From locally sourced bamboo to pulp and paper products for our own brand and other buyers. We have built a great deal in recent years. Now we want to take the next step: scaling up our production further and developing bamboo into a serious alternative within the international paper industry. Through Republic Europe, we have therefore opened an investment round in which you can invest in depositary receipts for shares of The Good Roll. Please note: investing involves risks. You may lose all or part of your investment. Before making a decision, always read the Information Memorandum, the Key Investment Information, the full campaign information, terms and conditions, and risk warnings.

From toilet paper brand to paper company

Many people know The Good Roll as the colorful toilet paper brand with a social mission. We are proud of that. But behind the brand, a much larger paper company has since emerged. In Akosombo, Ghana, we have built our own bamboo pulp production facility. There, we process bamboo into pulp: the fiber raw material for paper. We use this pulp for our own products and also supply it to other parties within the paper industry. At the same time, we have built a solid consumer and B2B business in Europe. In 2025, we realized €5.5 million in revenue, more than 16,000 subscribers are rolling along with us, and we serve more than 900 business clients. For the next phase of our production, we have also secured a five-year off-take contract worth $50 million. The foundation is in place. Now it is time to scale up.

  • The capital raised is intended for the next growth phase of The Good Roll.

    This includes, among other things, expanding our industrial production capacity in Ghana, working capital and inventory, strategic restructuring, and strengthening our financial position.

    The exact allocation of the capital can be found in the Information Memorandum and on Republic.

  • We want to make bamboo a serious alternative within the international paper industry.

    Our ambition for 2030 is to further expand our production in Ghana, involve more farmers in our supply chain, and continue to grow in bamboo pulp, paper products, and future applications such as biochar.

    These are ambitions and not guarantees of future performance.

  • An investment in depositary receipts for shares of a non-listed company is in principle not easily tradable.

    It may therefore be the case that you have to hold your investment for a long time and that there is no buyer available when you wish to sell your depositary receipts.

    For this reason, read the information about liquidity risk carefully before you invest.

  • Yes.

    Investing in share certificates involves risks. You may lose part or all of your investment.

    Therefore, only invest after you have carefully read all available information and risks.

  • No.

    Future profits, potential distributions, or capital appreciation are not guaranteed.

    The future value of the certificates depends, among other things, on the development and performance of The Good Roll.

  • These are two different forms of investing.

    With depositary receipts for shares, you receive an economic interest linked to shares of the company, according to the terms of the round.

    With a bond, you lend money to the company under pre-determined conditions, for example regarding interest and maturity.

    The structure, rights, potential returns, and risks differ.

    Therefore, always read the individual information and terms before making a choice.

  • You can find the most important documents on this page and on the official Republic campaign page.

    We recommend reading at least the following:

    • the Information Memorandum;
    • the key investment information;
    • the campaign information on Republic;
    • the investment terms;
    • the full risk warnings.
  • Our round is currently 1,090,000 euros. We may open new rounds in the future with other potential investment amounts.
