We recently spoke with General Manager Claire van Campen, who gave us a behind-the-scenes look at her unique approach to hospitality and sustainability.

The vintage decorative elements, from stained glass windows to vibrant paintings on the interior walls, have been accompanied by products from The Good Roll for a number of years, partly due to Claire's enthusiasm!

Claire says it was an easy decision to switch: “We were already convinced by your mission for charity and the fact that the recycled toilet paper was a sustainable choice. Plus, the price fit our budget, so it was a no-brainer to work with you.” Both the wrapless toilet paper and the version with the personalized Hard Rock wrap are used in all hotel rooms and public areas, including the staff toilets and the guest café and lobby.

“Sustainability is an important theme for us”

Just like the musical theme, the theme of sustainability is very present in the hotel. Claire says that in addition to the partnership with The Good Roll, the Hard Rock is also actively involved in philanthropic efforts. “For example, we have a Culture Club that works for charities, including The Good Roll. We organize food drives for the food bank, collect old items for the Red Cross and are always looking for ways to do our part.”

This way, guests are always provided with luxurious and soft paper, which is so important!
