Brown, because there's no shit in it

Let's be honest 🧻

There is so much shit about standard toilet paper. Most toilet paper is made from wood fibers, meaning trees. That paper is often bleached and processed to make it stark white. Not because it cleans better or works better, but because that’s what we are used to. But those choices have consequences. For raw materials, for production processes, and for the impact that toilet paper leaves behind before it ends up in your toilet. Time to tell that story honestly.

WHITE PAPER? BLEACH IS NOT A MUST

Much toilet paper is bleached to make it whiter.
That does nothing to change how clean or soft the paper is; it is primarily an aesthetic choice!

Bleaching processes require extra steps, energy, and additives.
That is why we choose to leave our paper unbleached.

Less processing. Fewer steps. No unnecessary fuss

The facts about bleaching

Bleaching is an additional processing step in the production process. Depending on the method, this can lead to: - extra water consumption - extra energy consumption - extra emissions compared to unbleached alternatives. That is why we consciously choose to skip this step.

Why we choose alternatives to trees

Wood is a finite resource. And toilet paper is a product you use only once.

That is why we make our paper from bamboo.

No wood fibers from trees are used for our toilet rolls.

Brown, because there's no shit in it

Our paper is 100% bleach-free. No unnecessary chlorine, no air pollution, no water contamination. Made from sustainable bamboo and recycled paper. Just as clean and soft, but without the polluting crap. We are moving our pulp production to Ghana in 2025. That makes our bamboo rolls even more socially responsible and CO₂-conscious.
