Let's Celebrate: World Environment Day!

The United Nations officially declared June 5th as World Environment Day! Since 1974, this day is celebrated all over the world, where many activities are organized around the theme of the environment and where attention is given to this important topic! So that we can help more people take a step towards sustainability.

We will definitely use this day. Because promoting the environment by sharing information with our followers, and perhaps people outside of it, is of course a great goal and we are happy to participate!

Did you know that…

Did you know that… by planting 1 trillion trees, our emissions of harmful substances are restored by two-thirds? If you also get your toilet paper from us, no more trees need to be cut down for toilet paper! A win is a win.

Did you know that... because the earth is getting warmer, more male crocodiles are being born? And then you think, what does that have to do with The Good Roll? Well, nothing at all, but it is a fun fact!

Did you know that… we can still stop global warming? If we reduce our CO2 emissions by 2030, we can achieve the target of staying below 1.5 degrees. Every hour, every day, every week and every month counts. Will you also do your part?

Now you know that our beautiful planet still needs some attention and that every little adjustment can help a little. Here are some easy tips that you can apply in your daily life to reduce your 'emissions' a little:

1. Shower to your favorite song! Put on your favorite song and give yourself time to shower to that cool song. The moment the song is over, your shower time is up too! This is a swinging way of sustainability.

2. Friday-Vega day! Many Dutch people eat meat and fish every day. Of course, this is not so good for the environment, we all know that. What if we make Friday-Vega day! Use Instagram, TikTok or Google as your recipe book, because there are so many delicious options!

3. And of course, this one can't be missed, switch to sustainable toilet paper from The Good Roll! How easy can you make it for yourself? No trees are cut down and the process from bamboo to toilet roll is 100% sustainable. In addition, it is simply delivered to your doorstep? Now that is lazy sustainability and we completely agree with you!
